Religion is beyond retarded imo, but the neckbeards who spend their days ego-stroking on forums etc bashing religious people are just as cringe in my eyes

This. You want to believe that there's life after death, that our dead loved ones are chilling on a cloud with God keeping an eye on us, then go ahead. Life is tough and it's a way to cope with the uncertainty of life. It's more comforting for people to believe these things than to accept that there is no point to anything and that when we die, that's it.

But if you try and control peoples' lives around you with your religion, that's unacceptable. Keep it to yourself.

I can't really say for either group, but for those wacky religion-cels who believe in creation, they can go fk themselves. I tried going to a creationist seminar hoping I'd hear something new, but it's the same old Kent Hovind bulls*x, and everyone else just laps it all up. I asked a LOT of them later what they thought, and they all thought it was a good lecture (even though most of the things he said were blatantly false if you knew even a little bit of how evolution worked). Every single person I talked to also told me they didn't know anything about evolution. Maybe the militant atheists are annoying, but these creation-cels are stupid as fk.

In my experience atheist have been more annoying, nobody fuke nask them but they just HAVE to tell you that they are atheist and then start ranting lol.
