20 minute water color from this weekend

Nose got messed up because I didn’t have water color paper

Tried it once...my brain doesn’t work that way. Almost like you have to plan layers ahead of time. Stuck to oils for the past ten years.

Nice. Watercolor looks like a really difficult medium to master. I think you did a good job with this.

I paint using oils myself. I try to create something every weekend if I can. Here is something I did yesterday:



I was initially planning a lake in there and some bushes but the mountains really got away from me.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

I think if you made the background dark it would eliminate some outlines that I feel are taking away from it -- even if it was a gradient dark going from dark to light from the baby outward.. would also put you in a position to clean up some edges/left eye (left facing painting)

otherwise great painting

I lost my passion for art when I hit my 20's but grew up very passionate and even went to school for it -- I think it was in college that I realized I didn't want it to be a career
