lol @ non-hardworking miscers
A consistent opinion on the misc is to work and do the bare minimum at work because "you're replaceable" or "it's who you know to move up"
Of course I'll replace your dumb ass with that chitty attitude and work ethic.
Word of advice to those reading this. That is quite literally the dumbest advice I've heard hear yet.
Work hard at every job you're at. The reason is simple: it builds work ethic and soon enough that's all you know. You'll soon become more productive than everyone else and you'll be in a position for other opportunities (both at your current role and externally)
That work ethic will translate to other parts of your life too (family side hustles gym etc). It's literally a win win scenario
Also to remember, As you grow in your career, you're slowly building a brand for yourself. having a good attitude and being a hardworker is such a simple thing that even an autist miscer can learn. I'd been in a position where I've hired stupid mother fukkers but I know they work hard and have a good attitude. Soon enough they learn the job and they shoot up fast.
TLDR: Work hard *******s or LDAR.

This only applies if it’s working doing something you like.
Life is short why would you waste it working your ass off to make other people money doing something you aren’t totally happy doing.
The whole concept of working hard so you can one day retire sucks. Why divert happiness to old age. “Yeah just going to work my ass off in my cubicle till 60 so I can finally retire and enjoy life” .... fuk the system

Also a lot of people work hard doing the wrong thing, also a lot of jobs don’t have enough work to actually fill the 9-5 conventional time slot so they sit around doing pointless tasks like unnecessary meetings or organizing outlook folders.
Shouldn’t it be about being productive and then freeing up time so you can enjoy life outside of the office. Why don’t we focus on productivity instead of hours put in and something completely qualitative like “hard work” - hard work is stupid if you’re just revving the engine spinning your wheels in mud

it's true about the work ethic. i've been minimumworkmaxxing for 2 years now and i've become lazy as chit. that jaded laziness has since spread to my life in general, sadly.
fukk mane why should i work hard when all i get is a 2% raise?
and working hard at my job wud mean creating a hostile environment with tradies. fukk that.
