Is it worth watching? Absolutely.
Worth buying? I dont think so. While I enjoyed there finally being a movie about WW1, since no one bothers to care about that part of history, the movie's ending was rather anti-climactic. I'm not saying it wasn't a good movie, but the ending kinda killed it for me.

It's different for how it tracks the main character super consistently throughout the runtime.
I don't think there's much by the way of grand spectacle war movies these days, but I wasn't disappointed paying to see this in the theater.

Funny how this movie secretly documents exactly what Adolph Hitler did in WW1 and completely glorifies it.

I thought it was a pretty incredible film.
I found the acting to be pretty chitty to be honest, but thematically, aesthetically, and cinematically it was really well done.
Certainly worth viewing in HD on the big screen once or twice.

eh i didnt thiink the movie was that good. The no cuts thing is cool but i think it limited the story telling. Nothing on level of band of brothers, saving private ryan or any of the older good movies series. 6/10 for me would not watch again.

Yeah but it depends on your setup. This is one has to be seen as immersively as possible. So not worth it if you don't have surround sound and a huge TV.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.
