What % do you tip when:

You eat inside & get served:

You get food to-go carside pickup (They bring food out to you):

You drive, walk inside, & get food (to-go):

I just round out whatever the bill is, so let’s say my meal comes to 23.50, I would just give them 25$, or if it was 27.25 I would give them 30$. Honestly this whole tipping thing has gotten out of hand, I agree with Mr Pink in the opening scene of Reservoir Dogs. Most of these waiters and waitresses just write down your order and bring it out, maybe give you a drink refill. They don’t deserve anything extra, and if they aren’t happy with their wage they should get a different job. I’m not about to turn a 25$ meal into 35$. If I had a ton of extra money maybe I’d think about, but I don’t and the service is never anything special.

That’s for when I eat at the place, if I was picking up an order I would probably tip nothing.
