Should I get tested for covid? (srs)

I started feeling sick a few days ago. 90% sure it’s just a cold (only covid symptom is a cough) and I’m getting better. Probably will be over it by Wednesday, but with Thanksgiving coming up I wonder if I should have a negative test before eating with the fam. Work is no problem since I can just stay home.

I just don’t want to get a microchip put in my brain and I heard the chit hurts.

Wat do?

There's saliva tests now, nothing needs to go up your nose.

I did a swab test and it only needs to go an inch in your nose.

Results came back in like 2-3 days.

Can’t find a single thing about these being available in my area. Wouldn’t mind that tho.

Might do this then. I stick my fingers twice as deep in to dig out boogers all the time. Know if this is what Walgreens uses?

Yeah I’m not worried about myself, I just don’t wanna kill my grandma on Thursday. I guess I could quarantine but if there’s no need then I’d rather not.

Nah, no fever at all. Doubt it’s even the flu. Symptoms are pretty much going away just from resting over the weekend.

I did it for peace of mind and yes the test has changed.
In my region it was a 1 min q-tip about an inch into the nostril/touch the septum for 10 sec and repeat in the other nostril.
The paper work took longer than the test.

Check to see that nobody has been spraying household cleaners/chemicals in your household. Some chemicals, when sprayed or used to an excessive degree, can irritate the lining of the lungs and cause gastrointestinal issues and cause respiratory issues.

definitely COVID. The common cold doesn't exist anymore. You will be cured before Thursday I wouldn't worry.

Yeah its not invasive at all - did it in the drive thru at CVS but I'm pretty sure it's the same thing Walgreens has.

Funny you mention boogers, I was afraid I'd pull out a giant booger and low and behold it's exactly what happened.

Looked like it has a hair in it - may have had it's own pulse too.
