Why aren't humans classified into subspecies?

I was always taught that a species was defined as "A group that does not recognise the mating behavior of another group"

Last time I looked, twerking was disgusting. Not to mention the 2 standard deviations in average IQ difference between certain races.

And why is is that we can just keep animals as slaves, like dogs or cattle, but we can't keep subspecies of humans?

Some humans are part literal neanderthals (the good ones) and other are not, why are we pretending that we are all the same?

Also being able to interbreed does not determine a distinct species. Being able to breed without artificial insemination WITH the ability of successive generations to produce offspring is another requirement. Last time I checked all races can do that. Culture plays way more into stereotypes than anything. Hell if you are being real take Brad pit and your average white guy and they look like they are 2 different species .

I don't consider myself superior to anything, we are all adapted to different environments so we are good at different things. I just don't see how anyone who believes in evolution can classify two groups that were separated by a minimum of 65,000 years of evolution "the same species"

Look at research from 60 years ago.

Animals are grouped into multiple species, yet can still interbreed.
Scientists were saying their was no scientific basis for the concept of race decades ago, maybe longer. So it has nothing to with "these days". It has to do with the truth. You don't want to accept it because it doesn't fit your own personal view of the world.

You get variation even within the same species, for example dog breeds, doesn't mean a Pittbull is a different species to a Pomeranian even though they look drastically different and have vastly different temperaments they can still breed and have offspring.

So yes there is variation within humans in physical traits and behaviour but that doesn't mean we are separate species.

A realistic answer is this:

If your dog was still a basic dog, but he understood English, and you told him that you don't love him.

That's why society doesn't talk about this subject any longer.

You mentioned Neanderthals and that situations has never stopped.

Back then there were different types of humans living on the same planet, and we have the same situation now.

The reality is that we have "cave people" type humans that are still alive, and there's nothing anyone can do about it. It does no good to complain about it and if you do, it just creates hurt feelings in the cave people and non cave people.

It's a no win situation dealing with this topic.
