Cheekbones are the most important feature (srs)

First and only thread I will ever make about facial features and it’s because my cheekbones are barely holding on rn (going on a mini cut soon.gif)

Guys cope hard by thinking the jawline is the be all for aesthetics but what separates a slightly above average guy from a very above average guy is the high/prominent cheekbone + jawline combo. A guy truly can’t be above a 7 without good cheekbone genetics and definitely not an 8+ without top tier cheekbone genetics.

It makes your face appear much more angular, coupled with a strong chin, jawline and face shape and it’s game over, dead srs.

I have never once read a blackpill or looksmaxxing article so this is pure knowledge via experience (srs)

It’s all about the cheekbones (srs)

When Dave Chapelle and John Stewart did their comedy tour, they attributed good cheekbones to why so many people were good looking in the scandinavian countries. Maybe those two would agree with you OP.

You only need one really good feature and the rest to be average to be good looking. It can be eyes, cheekbones, jaw, midface or smile. As long as the rest are average to above you'll be good looking. Just the same if you have one really bad feature it will ruin the whole package. You don't need to have the best of everything just don't have the worst of anything. This is all assuming you have decent symmetry since without that it never even began

Would make sense. I could be wrong but I think female models from Scandinavia/Europe are known for their high/prominent cheekbones? So the males would have above average genetics there too

I’m the fattest I’ve been since ever (like 14%) and while still having a very prominent jawline, my cheekbones still stand out but have lost about 70% of the angular/hollowness and it’s absolutely night and day difference.

My shaving time has reduced drastically because I don’t spend 10 mins staring at myself anymore (srs)

I don’t look at models lmao so this is the quickest example I could think of to prove my point. I thought he had a more defined jaw I’d find a better pic but about to be out.gif

Pretty defined jaw there but who was cheekbones. If he had any semblance of cheekbone definition there he would look drastically better. Anyone can become slightly above average by getting lean and bringing out their facial features but if you don’t have prominent cheekbones (which you can tell as high as 14-15%) you won’t be very good looking (srs)

As a guy with very prominent cheekbones, they don't do much as you think. It's a "pretty" feature and seperates the decently attractive guys from legitimate model men.

What comes first is facial fat especially in the cheek area. If you still got puffy moon baby bloat like me, your zygos hide and become useless.

So many "chads" out there have no zygos...just decent lower jaw and practically zero facial fat. That Chad is attractive to women however can never become model territory without prominent zygos.

Also, zygos with weak lower jaw = pretty boy but not tough.
Strong lower jaw + no zygos = tough guy but not pretty.

This is true. I have a pretty average jaw/nose, but I got slayer eyes. I legit get compliment on them daily, especially by sloots (I also got long af eyelashes). If it wasnt for my eyes Id be your average incel, maybe even below average

I question you actually have top tier cheekbones if you don’t think they do that much. I’m at the point where this is the lowest cheekbone definition I’ve ever had (assuming I have zygos or whatever the fuk that is since they’re still prominent at 14% bf) and it’s an insane difference.

I cbf looking into any looksmaxxing chit cus I am in like the top 1% (sorry hard not to be cocky with post lifting endorphins srs) but my point is:

Strong jawline but weak cheekbones = won’t ever be above a 7

Strong jawline with strong cheekbones = required to be above a 7

Not even going into any other traits I have a strong chin, good face shape etc but my conclusion is cheekbones are by far what separates just slightly above avg looking from top tier

Accurately describes me. I'm a pretty boy, ( I don't try to be, I just am)

I only knew I had prominent cheek bones because literal gay guys would complement my cheekbones.

At the end of the day it's a bone, you either have it or you don't; there's nothing you can do. I don't have good cheek bones when lean, have a good jaw though.

at what BF% do cheek bones disappear? Feel like even if you have solid ones it'd be the first to go.

But agree with OP - it makes guys like Tom Brady stand out

I have both a strong jaw/cheekbones and they definitely disappear faster than jawline easily. At 14% ish I still have a very prominent jawline but lost about 70-75% cheekbone definiton I’d say compared to 10% ish

Going off of memory I’d say I still have the sunken/hollow look till around 12%. This has to be very genetic based though as more often than not when I see people around my bf% they have next to no cheekbone definition

You’re an idiot. People have different fat distributions. The above example is of someone with developed cheekbones but high fat distribution in the face. Most models have little fat on their face no matter what body fat they are (in moderation) due to a gene

You wot mate? No chit lowering bf% will define ur cheekbones more but that’s not the point. Even if he got rid of all the fat on his face he will never have the same cheekbone structure as a model for example, and models have defined cheekbones even at higher bf% than he is in this pic due to the structure itself.

The weaker ur cheekbones are the less fat it takes to cover them up. Same with jawline.
