I am getting cucked so hard by the IRS
2 months ago I received a letter from the IRS saying I owed 250 dollars. I went online and paid it through their website. I received another letter this month saying I owe 252 dollars. I tried calling them and a recording said "sorry due to the high number of calls we cannot accept yours today please try again later" or something and it hung up on me haha. Literal definition of getting cucked.

Are you sure it was a legit letter?
There's a lot of fraud around the IRS and mailings. You should probably verify before you send any money to anyone.

The IRS is actually pretty cucked themselves these days, and FYI, if/when you get in touch with someone, they are always very helpful if you're clear and kind.

I actually got through to them. It wasn't a ****** on the phone, sounded more like a Shaniqua who put me through to a Richard. Everything is apparently fine and I am all paid up. Fukin IRS is a bigger scam then the Nigerians.

2 years ago the IRS sent me a bill for 1$
One.
Fukin.
Dollar.
Didn't get any money back that year. The year before that, the IRS said I owed them 850$. I went back and forth with them through the mail (took 2 weeks for it to get to them, 2 weeks for their response) for months. They tried to claim that they deposited my return early and if I called my bank they would confirm the deposit. So I called BoA and they said the IRS is full of chit, no deposits on record for the date given.
I told the IRS what my bank said (sent some confirmation numbers etc), so they billed me for 150$ anyways. No reason given, just "amount owed".
Fuk the IRS srs
I'm one bad experience away from not paying taxes at all.

I've paid the IRS more this year than I had in gross income five years ago lol
Wonder if that's enough or how much more is my "fair share"?
