ever wonder why? maybe I dont want to talk to you

new girl came into work and we exchanged a few bits of small talk and I expected her to leave but then she says that.
ended up forcing a convo to satisfy her and she said "well im glad you asked some questions, that means you are warming up to me now"

On a side note. Imagine knowing someone is more shy or reserved then dragging attention to them with statements like: "Are you shy?". Some people have zero awareness or consideration.

I remember one gathering there was one person who obviously just wanted to chill and was a bit shy. Had a loud-mouthed family member start going on about how quiet they were being. I was nearly going to say something like: "Better to say nothing than talk nonsense" but I didn't feel like the consequent dramas.
