I fuking hate poor people

Yesterday, I was pissed off the whole day because I felt duped paying this guy $20 because his "mom was dying and he needed to go the hospital". I saw this guy begging on the streets before so I was doubtful if it was true or not. This is the fourth time where this line worked on me. One guy said that his dad is dying and he needs money to go see him and he needs $140 for the flight and he'll pay me back next week. After a week, he stopped picking up my phone and blocked me.

It's not so much the money but the idea that I got duped.

No more money for beggars.

Then look at it like this. Only he knows if he was lying and he likely was but focus on your intentions and actions and not his. You did a good thing. That brings its own reward bro when its done for the right reasons so dont feel duped or bad.

I never gave a penny to a beggar in my life

I hardly ever bother with charities.

I do every now and then to some very specific ones but someone trying to promote some random charity or some fuking homeless person, i dont play with them. homeless can go fuk themselves, I already pay taxes which foots the bill for all these programs but they dont want to use them becaues they wont allow drinking and drugs and chit at the half way houses so they rather go back out on the streets and when idiots give them free money, they make more panhandling than at an actual job.

You probably don't hate poor people, OP. Unless you're a sociopath. It sounds more like you hate scammers. Most poor people are not scammers.

Yeah, actually, I had the same thing. When I gave the beggar $20, she just looked like she just conned another chump and left, not even saying thank you.

I do think that most poor people just want to extract as much money from you as possible. One time, when I visited Turkey, this woman would purposely pinch her baby so he would cry and people would have sympathy for her and collect more money.

He's mad he got bamboozled. Not the 20 bucks.

Pan handlers are professional conmen who prey on emotion. Used to troll them HARD when we had a 25 year old Corolla hooptie that was given to the fam for free from a moving neighbor.

There's a guy out here whose been holding a "Please help me burry my son" sign for about a decade now... Tons of "FUNERAL DONATIONS" on poster boards with photos of "deceased" family/friends. Used to see a guy daily on a highway exit with a sign saying "near fatal pitbull attack" with his arm in a cast. I've even seen young CLEAN sloots doing it.

It's a job for them.. You'd be surprised at how much they take in a day.
