i watch it every year. even if the general public doesnt' have interest it has a huge cult following. fitness is one of the biggest social trends. so anyone who lifted for 3 months now as aspirations to compete.

MMA might be the one sport almost as homo as bodybuilding.

Why would I care if someone has better steroid muscles than the other one?

Strongman competition now that is a good competition, i can agree. Bodybuilding? Just come out already.
