Drunken Ramblings, Episode 287: The vid game hamster wheel

I have been playing one, count it, ONE vid game for years. The same game. Hearthstone. I quit wow and a few other games over the years and was left with it. It was that chitty side game that was there to fill a minute but meant nothing. All these years later and it's all I play. I am not even that good. I go months only playing whilst sitting on the can taking a dump or just logging in once in a few days to clear dailies but I always come back. It is my video game oneitis. I am not even sure what that term means tbh, just saw it on here.

When I drink I turn to it because I can play short games or long sessions. Every time I play however, I basically give myself an eye roll and wonder about what other games could be out there? Surely, there must be better elsewhere and don't call me surely.

There is no point to this thread. There is no conclusion. There isn't even a reason. Thank you.

10/10 thread.
