Theories As to Why Crime feels Good?

Stealing alcohol, cars, beating someone up, illegal street racing, any form of breaking the law has a unique feeling. And it feelsgood. I'm a reformed man so I don't do these things anymore and look on my past with disdain but what do you think is the reason that crimes feel so rewarding?

Is it some special chemical pathway in the brain? Demons? Low inhibitions being rewarded?

Obviously if crime felt bad then criminals would be less inclined to repeat offenses. But most criminals end up repeating the same chit over and over. Has evolution doomed some people to a life of crime?
