Everyone who says "it's just words" when referencing someone's anger over them

Someone says something you don’t like, laugh at them in a cocky way and say sarcastically “oh yeah for sure man” act like what they have to say is unimportant and you’ve barely even listened or took in what they’ve said.

Context and situation. Wars were started because your talking about international posturing and much more details in politics. Words are usually the trigger of built up tension when starting wars, not just the words themselves. Like someone who pokes you a bit every day, you let it pass but there will be that one poke where you just snap.

Muzzl if you started calling me a crazy ass cracker and went on about my mum or w/e I'd just mentally filter you out. It's words from someone I don't know, someone I will never meet (even IRL you will never meet them again).

People who get worked up over words especially when said by an angry person they don't know are weak. If it's strong words from someone you respect or know well then yes, it's natural to get emotional and heated.
