Anyone else have a great job/supportive family but feel empty as fuk?

Things have been getting better, but I have a great job, both of my parents are still alive albeit divorced but supportive, hilarious siblings, etc. Outside of my family and job I don’t have much going on but I feel like that is pretty normal for the Covid era. I actually feel like I would be happy if my expectations weren’t based on what I see on media all day (ex. Perfection is normal, millions of friends/banging

Do you ever think about how you would view yourself 30 years ago if you were in you’re exact situation but didn’t have absolute bullchit social media to compare yourself to in the current day? (no YouTube, no instagram, etc.) I have an amazing job and supportive network but nothing ever feels like enough in today’s era. I probably would’ve been happy as fuk back in the 80’s. No social media to worry about; when you meet someone that is what you get. You can’t look up their entire fukking life; it just feels so simple and extraordinary

No I feel pretty good but I don't use social media, srs. Just have a FB so my family doesn't ask me if I have one on Thanksgiving to tag me in pictures and so the wife can post pictures of our kid for my family to see. Turned off notifications so it just sits there.

Just stop using it. Delete your accounts. Done.

I quit my job to protect my family who said they would support me then they became unsupportive and called me a freeloader.

My Dad and eldest Sister are both chitheads.

Yes I feel betrayed.
I have sampled every language and French is my favorite to curse in.
