I just watched this video and it sums it up in a few minutes.

You can also work out why christianity fails in comparison.
tl/dw: jews are materialistic and do not believe in afterlife, the soul, etc. So they are focused on THIS world and of course, the nation/their people. Christians believe the immortal soul, there is no nation, we are all individuals, etc.
