xHamster, Redtube, Pornhub, etc all disabled their download function on the same day

Did any of you boyos notice that yesterday all the major pr0n sites disabled their download feature and are now encouraging membership signups for download access?

They literally just passed a new law, protecting from nonconsensual porn being uploaded. Apparently there's a lot of victims on those sites, that have videos up that they weren't aware of, and the websites don't do anything to remove them. All individuals now must provide written consent, and there much be a 24/7 hotline on these website to remove videos by request.

Pornhub pulled 10 MILLION vids down this week. You can only upload now if you are verified.

Some is the result of revenge porn.

They are also being sued by women that were trafficked and forced into performing on video and PH had their videos on the site.

Yes, I'm aware of those sites, that's also how I download youtube vids. I'm also aware that most times, you can just view the page source code and search for "MP4" or "FLV" and that will usually give you the link to the source files.

But it's inconvenient. I liked these sites when they conveniently had a download button where you could just click and download.

This. My favorite workaround is a outdated version of opera mini. They tried blocking my downloads on brave so I started using it again.
If it quits, I'll find something else.

YouTube downloader has crapped out though and the version I was using isn't on Google play any more.
I think Google is trying to force you to use premium to be able to download videos.

I do similar. I have browser extensions where the file link just instantly pops up whenever their is media, dont need to copy paste into external site loaded with adware.

Dont screenrecord whoever suggested that have fun with your chit quality
