The hardest break up - share your story

What was the moment when you knew it was over, even if you didn't want it to be?

I'll go first. I realized I just have to deal with the world I have, and be grateful for the things I have.

When my father in law and fiance jumped me, then called the cops and they both caught felonies. Life can be hard.

I had been dating a girl for about 2 months when my moms cancer took over and she decided to stop chemo and let things go. ONE DAY after telling said girl about what was happening she simply stopped talking to me and 3 days later she posted pics of her on a date with another guy.

Ive been ghosted before, but that was a new level of cold.

Damn that's rough. One thing I realized was when my mom was going through chemo my fiance never even asked about my mom, my new gf went to a health store and bought her something to help her without ever even meeting my mom. Gotta find people with good hearts.

This kinda scares me tbh.
At this point you just ask yourself is it worth going again, over and over, and will it be better and worth this time?
Am I a persistent man or just a fool? What's the difference if there's any?
I know that you get valuable experiece out of it, but it leaves you broken, every time harder.
Idk how I would feel there, but I like to believe that there's something good that's worth fighting for and the only way to get there is forward

the worst is when she stops responding to your texts enthusiastically. Becomes very short or doesnt reply all day..
your affection you show in texts isnt met equally..or at all
you start to think.. uh oh.. here we go again

in my case.. you see her gain an instagram follower and she follows some guy at the same time..
Cool (not a chad at all btw... or someone you would worry about)

the worst was def my first girl i dated though.
i thought I met the perfect girl on tinder and had so much in common, lived really close.. I was like no way..
it ended with her basically callin me a creep and forget about anything ever happening between us. made it feel even worse after hearing those from what i thought was a really sweet girl

Tfw you are the one that always breaks things off

Its difficult af seperating from my exes...they would literally be my best friends but life situations change (like moving) or just don’t find them attractive or compatible with me anymore.

Went to the ER one evening when I started feeling numbness on my left side and my BP shot up to 210/120

A friend text mf GF of 3 years to tell her and her reply was "well let me know how it goes".

Hospitalized for 3 days for tests and all, not a word from her.

Get discharged and she calls me to break up saying that i was faking it. WTF? lol

Come to find out from a mutual friend that she had been seeing her ex for the past month.

I really didnt expect that from 42yr old woman

cliffs

- dating stripper
- classic BPD case
- get tired of her as nothing redeeming outside of looks / sex since she lets me do whatever I want and I'm pretty imaginative
- break up with her 11 months in
- she calls police and says I raped her
- soaponarope1 has to take lie detector test
- pass no problem and her story changes like 3 times
- no charges but scariest week of my life

Thats crazy!

I dated one for about a year and im pretty sure they are all BPD.

She could flip out at any given moment so one night i broke it off.

She literally destroyed everything in my living room, broken items, holes in walls, even kicked multiple holes through the door.

I called the cops and sat there watching her demolish my place, f*cking sucks doing nothing.

It was satisfying watching her fight the cops when they came in and them handcuffing her and taking her to jail.

Dated for 7 months, ended 1.9 years ago.

She had the fattest ass, perfect coinslot innie vag, lifted weights, did porno moves, anal, you name it

But she was BPD, been with 50+ guys, posted g-string pics on IG, huge sloot

But she was the best man, still miss her ass

Yeah it was a poor choice on my part but it was after getting out of a serious, multi year relationship so I spent about 2 years drunk (100% srs drunk almost the entire 2 years) and for one of those years I decided dating a crazy stripper was a good idea. Really she just spent the night a few times in a row and never left (big red flag but I was too drunk to care), she was never an actual gf, I just never told her to get out so kind of a gray area.

Scariest part for me was she liked to take ****** and drink wine so she would blackout, then have crazy sex/do anything I asked. This ******/wine activity was completely her idea despite me telling her it was a bad idea health wise, but not gonna argue too much with a fun time. I was 100% certain this would be the rape claim. It wasn't because she was crazy and didn't have good critical thinking skills.

When she called the police, I waited for her phone call to be over, left, called them myself and drove to the precinct. Awared them on the situation and filled out all the paperwork, did questioning, etc... and I think being totally honest and up front about it contributed to the fact the states attorney dropped it 5 days in.

He picked up our cat that our then 6 year old daughter was patting at the time and smashed it into the chest of drawers. In front of our daughter. I don't know what became of the cat as I picked up my daughter and ran to the neighbours. Never saw it again.

Loved him so much but that was final straw. I couldn't have my daughter going through that.

Since our divorce he's been sent to jail multiple times for violent offending, including smashing in his parents front door with axe intending to kill them, but they dropped charges. Also stabbing someone in groin, smashing someone else with baseball bat, beating chit out of someone after roadrage incident, hitting his sisters partner over head with crowbar cos he gave him "funny look".

He ended up in psych ward at least once after psychotic episodes.

I don't know whether I was just lucky that he never hit me or whether it was because he actually loved me.

He doesn't know where we live and it's better that way.

It was kinda mental and blows me away when I think that I was actually married to someone like that. Seems like a lifetime ago now.

I needed stitches, and the idiots called the cops on me thinking I would go to jail, they booth went to jail instead.

It's my fault though, I never should have pushed him just for getting in my face and yelling at me. Dude was more of a father to me than my own dad, I feel bad.

I spent money on a plane ticket that she bailed on me and broke up with me (changed her status to "Single") on social media.

A month later trying to get **** back that's her's lmao and getting upset with me about and THEN went no-contact for months and she begged me to contact her.

The break-up was harsh due to other things going on around it but it made me stronger.

Fortunately for me.... at the moment they were kinda tuff but you know, enough is enough and things ended. Looking back none of them bother me.

In my head only scenario I can think of is like a movie drama when life is the reason you have to break up...

like she is an illegal immigrant and getting deported (lul)
you get sent off to war cause you're drafted
in that war you gotta go home and leave your international hbb

i've never had any fairy tale chit like that happen. They all been textbook time to end it type chit.
