Or they cross some wires under the dash and the cars starts. The steering wheel lock is never an issue.

I feel like screenwriters are old guys who went to school in the 50s. In movies, school elections are always a huge deal. Same with talent shows. People watch the school news like it’s crazy important. In reality no one gives a flying fuk and you’re a nerd if you’re involved with any of it.

Not in movies so much as TV, but I always thing about this stuff. Like when cousins go to prom together or something. Happens on TV a bunch, never IRL.
