Caught the COVID. Posting to share experience.

On Monday 12/21 I took a saliva test offered at work just because I was going to be spending extra time with family over the holidays. I’d been staying at my parents house since Saturday. The day I took the test I felt fine, maybe a little tired/hungover from drinking late the night before.

Tuesday 12/22 I felt really good after a good night sleep.

Today 12/23 I felt pretty good, went to work. At about 10am my throat is feeling like a sore throat coming on. Then I get the positive result. I leave work and go back to my apartment. Call my folks, they open all their doors and I grab my **** and leave back to my apartment.

Have had a constant temp between 97-99.1, checking regularly. No coughing or sneezing. Taste is fine. I do definitely feel off, a little fog headed, and nervous if I infected anybody. Parents just took a test today. I still feel a hint of a sore throat as well, but that’s about all so far.

Set up a telemedicine appt with a new doctor, haven’t been to the doctor in 10 years. That’s on Monday.

I’m going to post the experience here. If anybody has any advice as well, I’d appreciate it. Hope everybody has safe and healthy happy holidays.

I do take d3, c, and have a little bit of zinc left. I’ve had trouble finding zinc.

About 4000-8000 IU every other day or so. Not really sure what’s optimal.

First few days were like that, Then I got a STRONG fever and body aches, had 2-3 really bad days with the fever, felt a lot like Dengue. Day 5-7 had a tight chest and low oxygen levels, felt like mountain sickness and had zero energy. Smell was gone since day 3 and after a week I started to feel better, by day 10 I was almost back to normal but stayed isolated until two weeks had passed.

That was like two months ago and I feel fine now except i still feell very low energy most of the time, could be because I've been very stressed with my business and work tho I cant really tell. I've also had some erection problems since I've had COVID (srs no joke) that hasn't been fun AT ALL, can't really tell if its because of long term covid sequels or because I've been very very stressed this past couple weeks. The doctor prescribed me a steriod when I had covid so maybe that lowered my testosterone?
I wan't to get my test levels checked ASAP since maybe they're low since I had the rona.
Want to get to the bottom of this because having a weak penor is no phucking joke bros srs I googled into it and aparently it's becoming a common side effect experienced by people who got the rona, could be stress + depression maybe but who knows for sure.

Daughter tested positive Monday. I tested negative. I still felt a little rough then. Yesterday sucked sort of bad. Today has been a tad worse, on and off. No fever. I do have a sore throat and muscle aches, pretty badly. I've napped some today. My throat/mouth has felt sort of strange is the best way to describe it, perhaps even numb. All in all, I'd say it's a 3/10 on sickness level. I've definitely been way worse. I know I have it. I was in close proximity to my daughter all day Monday.

My son and I both had severe back aches last night, at almost the same time too and same area of the back. It's weird how this thing affects people differently.
