Obese people actually have more lbm/muscle than average

Take a small 6’0 dude at 180lbs 8% bodyfat. That’s only like 165lbs of lbm which isn’t a lot tbh.

On the other hand most guys these days are around 255-265lbs at 25% bodyfat. I’d say 25% bodyfat is the typical average now a days especially for powerlifter and football players. That’s nearly 190-200lbs of pure lbm right there.

Nearly 40lbs difference in muscle between the “aesthetic” dude vs a man who probably doesn’t have to lift as much as long as he eats a sufficient amount of calories to maintain his mass. So at the end of the day you can’t help but ask what’s the point in being lean just to be weaker and smaller than the average dude? Having extra fat also means more strength which ultimately helps in a street fight over speed/agility.

You would think a 400lb man "walking" around everyday could leg press more than your average guy. Just because he's "lifting " every time he stands up with all the extra weight.

This is no joke. My father in law is 6'6" about 400. My brother in law is 6'8" and about 350. Both are fat slobs who are extremely out of shape. But they are strong as an ox. For the first 30 seconds of a fight, before they'd get too winded, they'd destroy pretty much anyone

Having more muscle is all well and good but pretty pointless if your body isn't aesthetically pleasing. You need a v-taper to go with the muscle.

Yeah man, I'm genuinely curious to find out whether Jonny is a troll or not. I'm leaning towards troll, judging by the avi pic he decided to go with, knowing full well this is a bodybuilding forum.
