When I had a stable job I admit I got cocky

saved up 10 k staying at a cheap place and then got my own apartment lol.

Now I'm laid off but thanks to the government I'm bouncing back

Had a stable job for over 3 years now. Granted changed jobs in between for better pay / benefits / work in general. Been cocky, not gonna lie. But I figured it's okay to be cocky if you're using the money wisely... paid off all debts, and now I'm just trying to pile up some investments/savings. Goal is for when situations like lay offs occur, I'll be set and can almost look at it like a mini vacation.
