When did people become so miserable and entitled?

Popped into a 7-11 this morning to quickly grab a gallon of water because I didn't have time to fill my jug at home. As I was approaching the door I moved to the side because I was fumbling with my phucking mask, keys and wallet and some middle aged bish walks out with her little 2 year old parasite and goes "wow what a gentleman you are, couldn't even open the door for us". I chuckled and said "glad I could help, have a nice day" to which she replied "ugh what a douche". I ALWAYS hold or open the door for someone walking out or walking in behind me but I literally didn't even notice this loony until she said something. Holding the door is a courtesy not a requirement.

If I walked in or even opened the door without my mask i'm sure this same bish would've had something to say about that. What happened to people to make them so bitter and mad at the world?

Cliffs:
Opie went to 7-11 to get a water
Fumbling with chit in his hand and trying to put on a mask before entering
Karen comes out and gets mad because opie isn't fulfilling his door attendant duties
Thought women wanted to be treated equally? Why is she below getting her own door

When social media made people feel like their opinion actually mattered.

Just drive with your mask on at all times OP. That way, you won’t have to scuffle for it and will be ready to enter places at all times, ready to open the door for people as needed.

So you're saying it'll only get worse as time goes on

This seems like the right thing to do. Can't ever be too prepared
