WA State Brahs Some Gyms Reopening

Just got an email from my club. It's capped at 10 people per hour since it's a small gym and we get 45 minutes. My workouts usually run 1.5 hours so I'll have to change it up for now. Still I was dying for my gym to reopen. My liver couldn't handle much more of this quarantine drinking and I started putting on the pounds again just like last time it closed.

Check in with your clubs brahs I've heard of quite a few in the area opening again. I thought we had to wait until the next phase or whatever but I guess Inslee finally backed down after being unable to provide proof that gyms were linked to covid spreading.

Surprised Inslee didn't wait for CA or OR to do something. That's usually what he does. But he's been getting some pressure from the gyms around here to reopen and got pressed for data showing they were unsafe. All he said was the data and science (big shock) says gyms should stay closed. They asked him to provide data saying so and he never did or could.

Most chains I've heard of opening. Anytime, LA, 24 all should be. Not sure on the smaller chains or locals but I'd imagine those would want to open before the chains can because they can't afford to stay closed.

Honestly wouldn't surprise me if he called an emergency press conference tomorrow and extended the closure.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a nonlinear, nonsubjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

I don’t think any region will qualify to move to phase 2 for a while. Which is why I’m so giddy that gyms can open in 1.

This is his 5th or whatever reopening plan so who knows if this is the last one. I hope so because with vaccines being (slowly) distributed I can’t see my gym closing again.

I was this close to pulling the trigger on an apartment in cap hill before the riots started, thinking covid would end soon. I’ve been stuck in the Midwest for six months now and not to upset about it tbh. At least sh!t here is open.

I was going to hit my gym this morning but I decided to fly to Reno instead for the cfb final. I believe masks are only required when not actively working out. I’d imagine once you are at your machine or whatever you can take it off. That’s how it was before the last shutdown.

I know a few gyms that have been opened through the entire lockdown. Will not name them on here because King Inslee's Stasi will fine them $100,000+ for being open.srs.
