First of all, I am not subject to the UCMJ.

Second of all, that is the oath enlisted members take. Look up the oath officers take. There is one subtle yet significant difference.

The Insurrection Act has been invoked many times throughout history, most recently by H.W. Bush after the Rodney King Riots.

If Trump invokes it, that definitely doesn’t mean he’s holding onto power.

Four star generals are not in charge of the military. Civilians are.

He is only the president until the 20th though. After that he is not the boss of the military anymore.

I'd love to see a scenario where O-10 walks up to a PFC and is getting brushed off because "civilians are in charge", or any other nonsense that you're spewing. Trump can make an order on the 19th and you are going to follow it, whether you like it or not. 20+ years in the military (unless a medical retirement) should've taught you that.
