A few times. Rest and recover, take it easy for a week and drink a lot of water.

Same thing I did when I got swine flu, too.

Mine was more like 3 weeks but the Hospital did'nt detect it, so if I had died - my Family could have sued for neglet, but this is the ONLY advize you can offer that is offered here. It mentally drains things out of you as well as Phyiscal - even eating a Sandwich

Yeah had it for the first and so far only time a few years ago.
- All in all took about two weeks.
- 40 degree celcius fever and couldn’t eat much, mostly drink a lot of water and other such like coke, lemonade.
- Got prescribed anti-biotics.
- Could hear it in my breathing. I was also not able to sleep on one side (it was mainly in one lung), because I could only really breathe through the most uninfected lung.
- Woke up every night, sometimes multiple times a night bathed in sweat and had to change everything in my bed.
- Lost 8-10 kg. (Mostly water, of course)


I was back to 100% two weeks after the fever was gone and have felt no impact of it since.

i had it as a kid and pretty much was at death's door. I went full asphyxiation srs to the point where even my eye holes were congested. I think I went into a coma after that I don't remember, I was on an inhaler for a year. And my lungs have never been the same, I have a clearing the throat cough now and then.

It's the #1 killer of kids, I could've been one of the dead ones easy, it's a miracle I survived, I wasn't even in a hospital after I passed out from asphyxiation

Yes

-first time it got real bad went to ER
-they thought it was just a cough until lung X-ray
-put me on IV antibiotics and then orals
-worked from home for a week

Went to the ER again a couple weeks later
-turns out it wasn’t bacterial pneumonia after all, was viral
-different antibiotics
-ventolin inhaler
-worked from home

Still sick af and no doctors are seeing patients with flu symptoms
-back in ER, consolidation in lower lungs, got steroid inhaler

Took a week off work to actually recover, felt better

White blood cell count still in the toilet though

they misdiagnosed me as having bronchitis ,so as I was taking antibiotics that weren't strong enough ,I had a raging fever

If I fell asleep and my arm touched my side ,I would wake up feeling like I was being burned

I'm telling you ,it is no joke

the main problem for me is the pain. like when I cough I can feel it on the right side of my lungs. It's a sharp feeling. Painful too.
