Is how fuking rude they are. One of my first summer jobs when I was younger was as a forklift driver at a big warehouse. I was loading a truck for the first time and this older Chinese dude who had been working there for a couple years was supervising me load the truck. I asked him how many pallets could fit on the truck and he got pissed and told me I wasn't using my brain lol. He said all the trailers are 53' and it says it inside the door, and that all the pallets are 48"x40", so should know how many based on that. It made me mad at the time, but after I noticed he was like this with everybody, and we sort of became friends at work. No politeness, small talk or social graces - just tell it like it is, do what needs to be done or **** off. I wish more people were like this tbh.

Not in my experience. Most people from here will be polite even if you ask dumb questions, especially if they just met you. Ironically, Chinese born here are even more polite than anyone else.

Warehouse workers aren't really tradies though. Everyone at that place was either a young student working there for the summer, or an immigrant. Idk though, I haven't had a warehouse/blue collar job since I was young.
