I have a confession to make and industry secret to reveal
My NDA expired for some of my earliest work so I think its safe to reveal now.
For the last 15 years I have worked as a rap/hip hop sound effects guy.
For almost every hit single when you here a "hey" or a machine gun sound effect or lil wayne laugh, they bring me in to record those.
I cannot tell you that I might do all the noises on the migo records or that the guys that like megan stallions loughie hacking sound might be gay because a man possibly named elterrible recorded it. Those would be too new. and under NDA.
I can tell you that lil john did all his own sound effects, hes one of the legit ones.
My predecessor and mentor did the Master P sound effects, met him in a bar doing spot on "uggghhhh" impressions and was like man those sound just like the records, and he let me in on a secret and I said hey i can do those real good too, so he offered me an audition and the rest is history.

I can reveal Tekashi 69 also does his own, some guys have the natural talent for it.

Try up strumming on the main beats. Don't start the rhythm with a downstroke
Just like a lady
