Let’s get an idea of the kind of sinner we got around here.

Lust: is intense longing. It is usually thought of as intense or unbridled sexual desire, which may lead to fornication (including adultery), rape, bestiality and other sinful sexual acts. However, lust could also mean other forms of unbridled desire, such as for money or power.

Gluttony: is the overindulgence and overconsumption of anything to the point of waste.

Greed: also known as avarice, cupidity, or covetousness, is, like lust and gluttony, a sin of desire. However, greed (as seen by the Church) is applied to an artificial, rapacious desire and pursuit of material possessions.

Sloth: refers to a peculiar jumble of notions, dating from antiquity and including mental, spiritual, pathological, and physical states. It may be defined as absence of interest or habitual disinclination to exertion.

Wrath: can be defined as uncontrolled feelings of anger, rage, and even hatred. Wrath often reveals itself in the wish to seek vengeance. In its purest form, wrath presents with injury, violence, and hate that may provoke feuds that can go on for centuries. Wrath may persist long after the person who did another a grievous wrong is dead. Feelings of wrath can manifest in different ways, including impatience, hateful misanthropy, revenge, and self-destructive behavior, such as drug abuse or suicide.

Envy: like greed and lust, is characterized by an insatiable desire. It can be described as a sad or resentful covetousness towards the traits or possessions of someone else. It arises from vainglory, and severs a man from his neighbor.

Pride: is considered, on almost every list, the original and most serious of the seven deadly sins. Out of the seven, it is the most angelical, or demonic. It is also thought to be the source of the other capital sins. Also known as hubris (from ancient Greek ὕβρις), or futility, it is identified as dangerously corrupt selfishness, the putting of one's own desires, urges, wants, and whims before the welfare of other people.

I overindulge in things like music, movies, tv shows, video games, watching youtube videos, social media, etc. Information overload. I really should spend more time doing more productive and healthy things, like riding my bike, but I just can't help myself from the experience these things give me. Like I spend almost all day, everyday listening to albums on Spotify. I've been to a countless number of concerts and I own way too much band merch/band tees. It's an addiction to me. I've also really wasted many hours of my life on internet forums like this one, but for some reason I don't have any regrets. I enjoy it too much. Same thing with smoking and eating fast food.

I think we "sin" differently in different phases of our lives. My battles these days are different than they were 10 years ago.I can definitely relate to this.

Gluttony (already made my case above ^^^)

Envy (Material possessions, wealth, life experiences, both sexual and friendly relationships. Some people just have it better than me and I sometimes hate it)

Greed (I don't consider myself to be a very greedy person, but I'm usually not the kind of person to give a handout or pay for someone's lunch when they're clearly fit to take of themselves. I guess I feel awkward when it comes to money)

Pride (I do have pride for my art/music/creativity, but I don't much have pride for my nationality or where I come from/culture. I'd rather create my own identity than be handed one.)

Lust (I've "lusted" after so many women in my life, but I've never had the gall to approach most of them like that or show them my true colors)

Sloth (I guess I can be lazy sometimes, but I'm hardly a lazy person. I'm more hardworking than not)

Wrath (I've gotten into a few fights in my younger years, and I guess I sometimes wish harm on others who rub me the wrong way, but I usually let things go and forgive people and accept them for who they are)

Pride, gluttony, and lust. Can honestly say I’m never really tempted by the other four

I’ve always been a “talented” person and I learn things pretty easily thus, I’ve done the bare minimum all my life. I’ve never really had any desire to over work myself and prefer easy mode. Like I work “hard”, so I can afford to be lazy. I pay someone to cut my grass, work on my car, house keeping etc.
