Srs Question: Why aren't there more ghosts?

I can't be the only one who has asked themselves this question.

If you think about all the people that have died everywhere in the world (including your own house unless its new...and even then someone probably died on the land at sometime in history)...it would seem like there would be a lot more ghosts than just the ones that are reported.

Thoughts?

Ghosts....

You mean b/s stories to sell media products, boosts towns tourism revenue, and increase the valuations on Real estate through association to stories?

I'd say there aren't "more" ghosts because to much market saturation would reduce the impact and profitability of "ghost stories" on the above mentions $$$$ generation strategies.

There is also mental illness, but those stories are easy to see through... the GOOD stories always have a stronger story to maximize the earnings potential of then SRS

There’s been a lot of people writing chit about “ghosts” on misc lately and posting pictures of a bit of dust flying around with the camera on. There’s no such thing as ghosts, they ain’t real.

good point.

I never thought of ghosts as being celebrities in a sense but that may be a way to make the "ghost industry", if you will, profitable.

ghosts generally show up because they need some help getting from one realm into the next. currently there arent any men holy enough alive to help a ghost do that, so there's no point for a ghost to bother with humanity at this juncture.
