Absolutely ridiculous but this is exactly what I predicted when the Democrats impeached Trump the first time. The phony witch hunt games Pelosi and her comrades played have delegitimized the act of impeachment itself. What is supposed to be a final resort to remove ruthless criminals has become a political tool. I wouldn’t be surprised if every single future president is impeached by the opposing party at some point going forward.

I have to say it though. The GOP started it in the 90s when they impeached Clinton for getting his dink wet.

Has impeachment EVER been used properly? Srs question.

I’m well aware. But it’s still fuking ridiculous. Every single president has lied, often about far worse things, every single day of their terms.

If Bush wasn’t impeached for lying about WMDs then Clinton shouldn’t have been impeached for lying about penetrating an intern with a cigar.
