I've never stayed but looks like it'd be unique LOL - grab a hotel, watch the baseball game or whatever event is going on from your window.

The Rogers centre formerly known as the sky dome in the heart of downtown Toronto is a multipurpose stadium used for a variety of events including but not limited to sporting events, concerts, conventions, carnivals etc

It’s also the first major team sports stadium in North America with a functional, fully retractable roof. Again Toronto leading the way in architectural innovation (see PATH as well).

Cheers

i was at that stadium in 1999. i remember an ad for the original Charlie's Angels film played on the jumbotron. bought a great sausage sandwich from a vendor outside before or after the game. cool to see the CN Tower right there. i also went to Niagara Falls. i wanted to see the night life and strip clubs but relatives that were hosting me don't roll like that.

I actually hate baseball too.

My former boss would always make me take clients to baseball games cause he hated it too.

Do you know what that’s like? Entertaining a clients family with young kids for almost 4 hours watching baseball. It’s hell!!!

I’d usually bounce around the 6th inning it was so bad.

i've entertained clients through boring events for 20+ years. never some client's kids tho. you just have to maximum jestermaxx and eat and drink your face off for free to make it bearable. i don't miss it. and yes 9 innings of baseball is ridiculous. who watches this shiit? imagine a double-header.

One time I took clients to a jays game and we got food prior

Anyways it was a few clients with their wives but one client, this 65 year old man who was like 6’4 300 lbs with these ridiculous thick glasses comes alone. We go for dinner first. This guy strolls in and doesn’t even try to chat and asks me “do you guys still order the girls” - I’m like “no dawg that’s against compliance” and then he’s just embarrassing, calling the waitress “pretty lady,” hitting on girls next to our table, telling random people hes my client and makes more money than me and has millions in the bank. At one point he snapped his fingers and said “Erica, wet wipes” to the waitress and then as she was trying to squeeze between tables he goes “pretty little thing like you should be able to squeeze through no problem”

Then he gets destroyed at the jays game, continues to embarrass me infront of other clients. They also hire these 9/10s to work the lounge where we sit and buddy starts hitting on this girl just hammered. Had to apologize to other clients. He asked me to go out with him after and I said I had plans.

It was state of the art 30 years ago but it's now widely regarded as one of the worst stadiums in MLB. Concerts? Forget it. The acoustics are trash. Saw U2 there way back when and you could barely tell what song they were playing.

That's scary when you are the voice of reason. It reminds me of when Slash told Charlie Sheen that he needs to go to rehab.

What kind of girls was he talking about? Hookies? That hasn't been in compliance since the '80s.

I can get a little obnoxious and outrageous and excessive too but usually I have to be very drunk.

The skydome is ****ing brutal. I'd prob be taking a nap if I was in that hotel room with or without a game being played. I went to see yankees vs jays a few years back in the spring with the dome closed and it was the gloomiest atmosphere ever I was dozing off after like 4-5 innings lol.

Yeah he was asking about hookers lol

Guy was just trying to let loose I guess - I asked him if he wanted to bring his wife and he was like “nope.”
