New cars and real estate is where inflation is pouring into.

In 10 years a corolla will cost 40k.

If you can afford it why not. I got one a few months ago. Some deals to be had, dealerships are struggling rn. What are you looking at getting?

TBH with you guys, that vehicle that I have been driving for years is not actually my car, it's my dad's car. Basically, I want to have one so I can go whereever I want.

I don't know if its my area but cars are expensive as fuuuuu right now. I keep hearing that the bottom is going to fall out of the used car market - but I can't even find a decent deal on a mid to full sized SUV. I can get a new TRD 4runner for $500 more than a sr5 with 30k on the clock - with the apr of new vs used it is cheaper to get a new car (cash only crew). Don't even get me started on the Land Crusier prices...

Dat Toyota used vehicle tax is brootal. I would buy a decently priced 4runner or LC tomorrow, but they are all 95% the cost of buying brand new.

Not unless you need it. If your current car's giving problems and would cost more money to repair it than to fix it, then yeah let's get rid of it and get a new vehicle. Otherwise it's fine.

If you're financially well off and just want a nice new ride, and you can afford it, then I'd think it's best to wait till after COVID, so to speak, for maximum mogging.

It doesn't make any sense at all.... The Land Cruisers are all beat to chit 250k on the clock and they are around 20k. I can't even believe someone would buy a car with 250k period.

I've been looking and noticed that new and late model used are way overpriced. Better to take your down payment and get a $2500 beater from Craigslist for now.

Do a search for "leaving town" or moving interstate"... you can get super bargains.
