Is ziplining actually any fun?

I’ve been ziplining before, and it was really boring.

I’m in Costa Rica and they have the tallest or longest zip line in the world in monteverde.

My friends are dying to go on it, but I’m expecting a huge letdown based on my last experience.

Anyone ever have fun ziplining, or is it always trash?

When you are 80 years old staring out at the abyss and remembering the "good old days" will you be happy you have the memory of zip lining with your friends or not?

One day your memories will be all you have. Your body will be broken and cant make new memories. You either get to relive an amazing life or you can remember the money you wasted buying things to impress others that are long dead or never cared about you in the first place.

They're more fun when you're not strapped in. Just don't be fat.

Well, if we don’t go do the ziplining we’lol either be scuba diving islands or slamming out Costa Rican slam hogs. So we could be making better memories

Relatively cheap and easily accessible high adrenaline activity.

Yeah, worth doing.

I feel like it's probably fun for people that get a little nervous when you go 10MPH over the speed limit

I use my high powered winch grappling gun to scale the tops of Gotham. I then use my laser guided rifle to launch a bat dart into the nearby skyscraper so I can zip-line in and catch the bad guys before they can harm the innocent. I can't say it isn't fun but I will say this.

I do it because I'm The Bat-Man!
I have sampled every language and French is my favorite to curse in.

The more I think about this concept the more potato your thought process is

Imagine zip lining at a moderate rate of sleep, high above the ground and trees, for minutes on end and thinking “well this sucks, I bet the video game would be better. How boring.”

Someone photoshop a pic of bored Bernie and his mittens zip lining. That is the image that I think of.

i went on the zipline. you wont get much of an adrenaline rush, but the view is fantastic. i found it pretty memorable because of the view, so i'd recommend it. just go woth reasonable expectations

what i enjoyed much more was a hot spring resort in la fortuna. they had a dozen or so pools that incrementally got hotter. if you manage to gradually work yiur way up to the second hottest pool or so (something like 110 degrees), you will get a euphoric rush feel and light headed but in an awesome way. it's a better feeling than any drug srs. if you pass by la fortuna, definitely go to that hotspring

It's cool enough, tried it. But I really want to do the hang glider rides they do out of Brazil with that famous statue. Faurking intense and beautiful and they land you right on the beach next to sloots in thongs.

Its worth doing. Its not amazing or anything. I'd probably be mind blowing for someone who has never been in an airplane or ridden a motorcycle.
