Ask Guy Who Has Made Terrible Financial Decisions This Year Anything

brb took a job w/ a nearly $200k paycut to move back home
brb back home has a COL 2x higher than where I was living, with a house that barely meets our minimum needs costing at least 450k
brb bought doge coin after the pump
brb literally about to enter into a short term rental contract for my house back in the state I moved from with a ghetto princess whose house burned down and insurance is covering her payments (neighbors will hate me)
brb spend a bunch of money and political capital with wife to move back, only get reimbursed 5k for moving expenses from current job
brb wanting to move back, get old job back and erase everything I have done over the last month, but spouse will murder me

Regret can't change the past anymore than worry can change the future.

Stop looking back and start moving forward op.

Didn't buy in to GME. With my last job I wasn't allowed to own individual stonks w/out getting special committee approval, so I'm all in mutual/ETFs (very boring stuff), with some crypto for the lols. I did buy into some gold and silver ETFs last march as a hedge. I didn't cash out on the sliver pump earlier this week, but I am still up 80+%.

Luckily the place I moved from was pretty chill on lockdowns, and the place I moved too is even more chill (1/2 ppl don't even wear masks in public)

Haha definitely not true. But don't want spouse to have a mental breakdown and generally want to be considerate of spouse.
