Sucks if this passes because I live in massachusetts and it's hard for me to get a gun without taking 6 fking months and it registered, this bill is absolutely crazy too, you must register all firearms to a public database, your ex wife can red flag you for any reason and prevent you from getting a gun, if you were ever admitted to the hospital with depression the attorney general has the right to block you from getting a gun, taxes and yearly renewals WHAT THE ****

ITs not going to pass. I don't know if you've figured this out yet boyo but the political system is a huge theater. While Democrats do tend to be more leftist and Reps do tend to be more Rightist, they're at their core both exactly the same. They don't give a fuk about political ideologies. They care about the gravy train. Their mission is to get elected, stay there as long as possible, say whatever they need to to do so, and make deals on the side to get rich. That is literally our (and many other's) political system. They don't want to blanket ban guns because they don't give a fuk about guns, they don't care whether or not they're "dangerous" or their base doesn't like them. They just say they want to ban them because it gets the peepees of suburban white moms and various other cuckgressives hard. and it pisses off the cuckservatives who rally behind "they're coming for our gunz!!" and keep voting in the same stupid republicans that pretend they're fighting the good fight. In all reality, the government has stayed moreor less the same for a long time and they don't really do much of anything except pretend to bicker and argue. The only thing that changes with the government is the following four points:

1. More taxes, fees or other money making ventures
2. More freedom to do whatever they want to companies that lobby and pay them under the table
3. More surveillance and unregulated wild west justice so intelligence agencies and cops can live out their sadist fantasies and they can shut up dissidents from the right or left
4. More welfare for the poorest of the poor in the form of food scraps so they can legally buy votes from them because they pay their food stamps and section 8

That's literally all that ever happens. Everything else is just theater.

Guns are not going to get banned because the companies that produce firearms and ammunition are extremely wealthy, connected and powerful and pay good money under the table to make sure guns don't get banned. They secretly support regulation and overcomplicating the permit process and doing ridiculous rules to what you can buy because it causes people to freak out and think guns will be banned and therefore they buy more.

We live in a neo feudalistic system complete with Royalty, lords, knights, dukes, despots, and serfs. You and most people are the serfs - you do what you are told, make money, give them a cut, shut the fuk up and stay busy watching dumb chit on netflix and arguing about politics with other serfs; they live off your cash, cut deals with each other, fight for the throne, property, inflence and power and money, jack each other off, give each other pats on the back and call in favors; they get in bed with the merchants, some of them peddling supposedly illegal things like drugs or people or firearms or kiddie porn, and everyone who doesn't like it gets a couple knights sent to their door with trumped up charges to get them to shut the fuk up.

So, moral of the story is - nobody is goin got pass this retarded bill. It's a theater. And the government doesn't want to deal with the literally thousands or tens of thousands of low IQ loonies and rednecks and antifuks and hippies that will go postal the moment some knights come up to their door to take away the guns. Its logistically impossible, and the public reception of tat move would be so bad even the US wouldn't be able to avoid civil unrest because of it. There's way too many crazy people that would kill and die over their guns.
