We got our pupper DNA'd via "Embark" for fun and out of curiosity. It broke down her breeds and where they come from (via which parents). She's mostly rottweiler due to her father being purebred, but the mom was a huge mix of rottweiler, American pit bull, collie, German shepherd, boxer, and bullmastiff.

Came back 20% American pit bull overall. That explains her incredible prowess for athleticism, her insane jumping and speed, her high intelligence, tenacity, and love of people (American pitbull traits).

Is my tour over? Will she eat me at night now and also maul my future children? Once those jaws lock....

Still think she's cute, though.

She's a handful. Probably the most intelligent dog I've ever come across and that's saying something. I volunteered at a shelter for years back when I lived in the city. I've come across lots of dogs in my time. Sometimes she's too bright. It's hard to keep up with what she learns immediately, so you gotta be incredibly careful what you introduce.
