Best free IDE for python ?

I have switched over to using windows for my desktop in the office and got a new hard drive and am installing stuff. I usually used pycharm on my linux computer but was wondering if Microsoft Visual studio is any good or if there is something better? I just now installed microsoft visual studio and was trying to install python 2.7 environment because I need it for something I am writing for "cybersecurity" and already am running into the windows problems. Errors that you cant fix yourself.

Any suggestions on a better free python IDE than pycharm?

I like anaconda and use spyder and jupyter notebooks
