Anyone speak any obscure language that has little relevance in today's world?

Im fluent in french and english. (some would dispute the english part, just read my spelling)

I also understand spanish, italian, and some latin. I think it has to do with the french.

But the most obscure language for me is by far my native Hungarian. Its like an alien language. I hear its closer to Finnish, and Turkish. (Rajc we are related...)

Oh and some Hebrew although I lost most of it since I was a kid.

Tuvaluan. Population of Tuvalu is roughly 10,000, and probably 5-800 of those actually speak a different language (essentially Gilbertese) as their first language. Learned it as a Peace Corps volunteer there and kept up with it as my wife is Tuvaluan, although as her English improved, my Tuvaluan got worse because I just wasn't practicing it as much. When we went back for Christmas 2018, I was really having to work at conversations.

Thats pretty dope not gonna lie. Im going to research this place.

My gf is Lithuanian, so when I get better at it, that will be my answer.

I speak decent Spanish and okay Portuguese.

I speak Welsh. It’s a dead language in a dead country and is probably used by 1% of people living here.

People speak Welsh in Patagonia.....fukn weird

I've posted some about it here before, but Hungarians/Turks are an unusual blend- a mix of Asian and European.

I don't actually speak anything fluently except English. I know some Spanish and can often glean a bit of meaning from most of the Romance languages along with the teensiest bit of German.
