Metal Gear Solid Movie has casted Oscar Isaac to play Snake!

My body is ready. The movie is going to be epic especially since Hideo Kojima will be involved.

Video game movies are usually ****, but as a big Metal Gear fan I'm hoping for the best. I would've preferred the movie just be in all CGI (like Final Fantasy 2001). Side note: anyone hoping that David Hayter is going to be involved in some capacity, him and Hideo Kojima had a falling out. This goes back to Snake Eater when Kojima wanted to replace Hayter with Kurt Russell. And Kojima made Hayter reaudition for Old Snake in Guns of the Patriots.

Atleast he looks sorta like him I guess. Love Metal Gear, finished all of the canon ones except 5 (that chit is LONG) even the original Metal Gears from like the 80s/early 90s.

Not sure why people are pointing out height. The actor is 5'9, whereas Solid Snake is 5'11-6' range. That's almost neglibible especially when you factor in movie magic (camera angles, shoe lifts, etc)
