Ego resides prior to perception. When the ego lessens, perception/the world around you changes as well. Things look more clear and bright, like you are on a small dose of shrooms.

A few minutes ago, when I was reading a book. I came to the sudden realization that the book I am looking at is just as much me as the thoughts in my head are me. The book is a part of my perception reality, and so are my thoughts. Right in this moment, both of them are a part of my me-ness in this moment.

So....let me repeat since it bears repeating. The more you remove yourself, the more clear, vibrant, magic and colorful the world becomes.
You see the world from a different perspective, through a different lens. This is actually quite amazing, and I would think it is good to let you guys know, because I certainlty didn´t know that this was possible before.
