Because they have zero inhibition. Noticed this myself at work, most people I know over 50 just don't give a fuk what others think and will say whatever is on there mind. They can literally go chat up a young HBB like it's nothing.
They grew up in an era where they were forced to go outside and socialise from a young age with no phones, internet or social media so it's pretty much ingrained in them.
It's rare to meet a young person with that level of confidence tbh.

High confidence as others have said, as well as high perceived worth. They think they have wisdom to share, you gotta be the judge if they're worth humoring or not

A complete cohesive thought with a beginning middle and an end.
There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

It will happen to all of us. The less you give a **** about what anybody else thinks the more you share your own opinion.
Ever have that voice in your head think of something to say in a conversation but you don't because you might offend someone or look dumb or something? Eventually that filter goes away because you're 50 and who cares.

Boomer checking in!
It's just the way it was.
Nowadays most younglings don't know how to converse with people.
Texting, texting, texting...that ain't it.

She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.
