Do you think Texas will cause solar to boom

So I moved here last week to sell solar. We are all thinking since power going way up and chit Solar’s gonna take off. We’re able to build systems with batteries. You guys think it’s gonna take off ?

Ps any miscers that want solar I can hook it up. Working for a multi billion dollar solar company and they allow you to price it anyway. They give us an insanely low red line.

What's the total storable energy for night use? I imagine the battery setups range.

Nah, the average consumer won't be onboard with this **** in Texas. The only way this will happen is if Elon Musk's Solar roofs somehow takes off with gov support and other manufacturers will follow

Hmmm before this from what I’ve been told and all the people I spoke to lots moving here for solar and it was starting to explode

Breh, I just had an aha moment.

Get a hold of ted cruz and propose to build a solar dome over dallas. No more snow, strong energy gains, and shade in the summer.

Consumer demand. Not sure on commercial but I’ve seen a few commercial with it so far.this guy we follow on insta closed 18 deals last month here. Which is the worst month. Woulda made 180k-200k with us lmao instead made 50k...

The problem of solar is its limited ability to accommodate our first world normal activities that we are all used to. It is insane how much energy the most basic things in her house as uses. A solar system could never use our oven and washer and dryer on at the same time without draining Most batteries banks.

Source: born n raised off grid and didnt even have ectricity as a child. Srs. Now were solar powered with gas generators.
Habit is powerfull and custom can Kill.

Wrong lol. Been in the industry for years. If you build a Susyem the right size it does everything including ac. I have it on my home. We build systems that run large homes with electric cars and they have no power bill. You don’t need batteries either.

Yeah bro that’s why you do batteries and they’ll run your home for over a week straight with the right size. Cali has rolling black ours often for a week or longer. So many doinf solar and batteries cuz of that

Well I’d personally price it at $2.5 a watt for cash with financing probably $3 a watt. So that be 90k with financing and government gives you a 26% tax credit on that so you’d get almost 30K back that you could use on what ever. Solar works with financing you go from paying say $100 power bill to instead a cheaper solar bill. It pays for its self

Ill say i dont have a hugge system at all ( 3000 watt inverter) so i know im alot more limited for sure. With no batteries how are you storing power when suns down?

You build larggee 30,000$ (minimum, wayy more here in north canada)sytems and im all for solar but no systems gonna fire up 4 1500 watt space heaters during a storm for 24 hours a day is it?

For residential you push power back into the grid and depending on the program they credit you back for all excess energy . Best programs 1 for 1. So you get 100% back what you produced. Out here it would. All systems we build run entire homes 100% including pools etc

Ive always *heard* of that but alwaysss hear in real life that it simply rarely happens srs. (Excess power back to the grid for credit). On paper it sounds dreamy and i guess youd need a massive system to power a full 5 bedroom houses needs without a worry. Either way if a solar system costs 50k$ and my grid powerbills 1500$ a year,thats a lot of years to even break even. That parts always torn me and here any type of "rebate" etc ussually is just a fuk around and gets put in my property taxes.
Habit is powerfull and custom can Kill.

Na man it’s true otherwise the last company I was out would be out of business the entire idea is to replace your power bill with a cheaper one that’s locked in so as power rates go up you stay the same price then eventually paying it off and once you do you are debt free from the power company like you are when you pay your home off. Solar has a chit ton of misconceptions. If you size a system properly you will be happy snd never have a power bill. Specially now a days solar can last 40+ years. Even production gaurentee by the manufacture show they only lose 10% efficiency by year 25 so worst case you add 1-2 panels in 25 years lol solar is the future for residential. Power companies are just monopolies cashing in on people for over a century. Their time is ending.

Oh agreed! My solar panels are built in 1988 and still kicking.i just need a bigger setup and batteries better for iur bitter cold (6 months of minus 40 degrees)
