srs question, its just a uk ruling and we arent in europe, but this has implications everywhere. If you hold any shares in uber/lyftt anything similar, id be concerned (not the sort of company id invest in personally)

This. And uber doesn't mind because this closes the door on any possible competition. Self driving fleet has been their goal the entire time. They planned to suffocate the taxi industry as a loss leader then eventually transition over to self driving. There's a reason they have never turned a profit ever.Don't travel much either, I take it. They are clutch for work trips.
