Human adulthood and spiritual enlightenment

Truth talk in the dream state. How come people can live their entire life in a case of mistaking their own identity?

I think I´m beginning to enter what Jed Mckenna refers to as human adulthood. Waking up in the dream, but not waking up from it.

Human adulthood = Waking up within the dream. Life positive. You ego is not gone, you still identify with it a little bit, but much much less than before. You know that the ego is false, because you have shed so much of it already. In human adulthood, the world looks more colorful, more magical and vibrant. You are more in tune with the world, not so detatched from it anymore. Ego is a prison or a shield which shields you from the "outer world". When you take small doses of pshycaldelic drugs, the world becomes more magical. Very similar thing with human adulthood. I love taking long walks outside now, especially at night, where as before I never really enjoyed it.
Eveything seems so magical and is much more interesting to look at. I often walk and walk and walk, not wanting go back inside. It has turned into one of my favoirte hobbies. Just looking at the world and it´s mystique.

Spiritual enlightenment = Waking up from it. Life negative. In human adulthood there is still some sense of self left, but in enlightenment there is no sense of self at all anymore. This is just speculation from me, since I´m not in this state, but I can kinda maybe see how this would be. All sense of self gone, and you become brahman when all dillusion is defeated. Jed Mckenna reccomends human adulthood for everyone and spiritual enlightenment for no one. He says human adulthood has a lot more of the good, and a lot less of the bad. But once you are at the human adulthood stage, doesn´t it become natural to go further to the final stage. Hmm, who knows.....

I really like the state I´m in now for the most part. More in tune with the world and not as inprisoned by lies and delusion anymore. Still in lies and delusion, but much less than before. But it can definitely make you an outsider when compared to other people, since most people are not in this state. But yes, thats what I wanted to write today.

You could say that, there is maybe some truth to it. All depends on what perspective you choose. There is no objectivity.

You´re just doing what we´re all doing, I suppose. Truth talk in the dream state.

Human adulthood is amazing it seems like so far. Lessening my ego is the most amazing thing I have done in my life. It´s literally mindblowing. I cried today while I sat at the toilet. Tears of depression and joy all rolled up in one. The world is so beautiful. My perception of the world is now like being on a small dose of acid, all the time.

The integrated state. Integrated with the world/conscioussness. As the ego lessens, the world around you changes and becomes more magical. The world used to look boring and gray, now it looks colorful, vibrant, but empty and quiet at the same time. I see myself in the things around me. I´m becoming my perception. When I look at a pizza, it´s like its a part of me.

I would guess I´m at the early stage of human adulthood now, but I´m not sure.
