This take on covid I found interesting (whitepill)

Flu virus in its modern form didn't exist prior to 1918.

1918 'Spanish flu' was the beginning of modern flu.

Spanish flu had around a 2% IFR, compared to roughly 5-10x less for covid.

Spanish flu proportionally affected young people far more than covid does.

Spanish flu was 'beaten' before too long and now we live with flu and it makes little difference to anything. Old people get flu jabs every year, it still kills some of them but that's life son. The same will happen with covid over the years. Eventually the hysteria will die down, only two more weeks brahs (not srs)

The difference is that a century ago people weren't as bovine as they are now, and our leaders were more self assured, so the response was better from the perspective of people like us miscers who value freedom and autonomy. Also scientists were more concerned with truth and the scientific method, instead of political correctness, conformity and lining their own pockets.

It will pass, and it might not be part of some giant conspiracy.

Viruses by nature weaken with mutations to be able to spread and live since without hosts they can't live.

Some variants are apparently somewhat more lethal, which goes against nature thus the (is it even a) conspiracy that its a man made virus.

I remember at the beginning of the pandemic they said immediately it looks like a man made virus because it hooks on to you like HIV and spreads like the flu. Plus didn't the vaccines give people HIV false positives?

I hadn't heard of the HIV thing but surely plausible that it came from the Wuhan lab and not a wet market.

How long does it take for a virus to weaken? It's been a year and I haven't seen any positive reports on how it's less lethal or whatever.

The reason I can't get on board with this conspiracy is literally Oxford University have said they'll have a universal vaccine for covid ready by the end of the year that works on the body of the virus rather than the seemingly ever changing spike proteins. And rumour has it boris is planning on more or less releasing this lockdown by July and then confirming we can do away with social distancing and masks by the new year, which conveniently coincides with the targeted release date of this universal vaccine

They will keep some restrictions and masks over the summer and lockdown hard in the winter again. I'll be honest ive lost all hope for things to improve any time soon.
