Did Wrestler Big Show signing with WWE's rival AEW crack the Mainstream media at all?

just curious if anyone who isnt a wrestling fan heard about it or even gives a chit.

when i say mainstream media, i mostly mean sports/entertainment.

I’ll never forget when he was “The Giant” in WCW, and Goldberg was on his undefeated streak.

On the Thunder, Thursday before Starcade 98 he choke slammed Goldberg in the main event, which should’ve been game over in my 11 year old brain. Was about to be very upset because Kevin Nash vs Goldberg main event at Starcade would’ve been ruined.
