Question For Miscers Who Actually Bodybuild

I asked this in the actual forum for it, but it's practically dead, so...

Any tips on engaging and 'feeling' the hamstrings when posing? I have torn both of mine and cannot seem to consistently flex them properly.

Understand where the hamstrings connect to your structure and how you can manipulate that to leverage your position.

For example, your hamstring isn't active until about 15 degrees of knee flexion.

Your hamstrings are also fairly loose in a neutral pelvic position. You can add some tension by forcing yourself into anterior pelvic tilt.

You can/should use these strategies in your hamstring training too.

Hmm, good question. Perhaps lean back slightly and put most of your weight on your heel to engage?
