This. There are some great black superheroes like Luke Cage, Static Shock, Green Lantern and Deathlok who would make interesting films. That Luke Cage Netflix series was one of the best superhero shows because it perfectly balanced realism with fantasy and delivered with quality writing and storytelling while doing so.

These black Superman and black Spider-Man movies are just corporate virtue signaling as always. Yes, they were both comic book characters originally, but both were created after Obama was elected. It just seems disingenuous.

MCU contractual agreements won't allow Michael B Jordan to go in the DCEU lmao. He's slated to be in the next Black Panther.

Anyways there's plenty of Black superheroes that they can use to make new content. Hell, BLACK Lightning, BLACK Adam. We don't need a Black Superman lmao. Superman is boring as phuck as a character anyway.

Kevin Feige doesn't like the Marvel Netflix series shows. That's unfortunate considering I thought Luke Cage was excellent.

I feel that (no racist) Superman is a white person's fantasy anyway. No inner turmoil or struggle, perfect superhero, one weakness. ****ing bland and boring.

Even Captain America being "All American" had issues with his allegiance to what America represented, him being from a different time and adjusting to the modern world.

I much preferred Batman or Spider-Man growing up due to them having relatable problems with their personal life and how that conflicted with their identities as superheros.
